Well yes, this may be an unlikely prospect for those that know me well. I am the most un-relaxed person I know. ha ha. But my objective of facilitating "relaxation and shiatsu to tune in to your body, tap into your own resources, relax — and take home simple ideas for feeling good in body and spirit" was achieved. I drastically scaled down my original plan - and then did even less on the day. I have done basic shiatsu workshops before. But I think it's the first time I've (a) got the pace right (it meant I could really relax and enjoy myself) and (b) been off theory, techniques or routines, and (c) successfully incorporated a simple breathing meditation without feeling a complete fraud. The feedback was incredibly positive and seven of the eight participants would like to continue on a monthly basis. All I need to do is find a venue (the lovely yoga room I used is not available in the future, unfortunately), dates that work for everyone - and inspiration for the follow-up.
